September & October 2023: Two half-day workshops plus follow-up support – £145

This three-part course will enable you to strengthen the foundations of your emotional resilience and self-confidence. You will discover how to reduce self-doubt, feel more secure in the face of life’s challenges, and make choices that enrich your experience of life.

You won’t just be gaining new information about emotional wellbeing – you’ll explore how these concepts can come alive in your own reality. You’ll be able to try out self-calming and self-awareness approaches in a caring, confidential small-group environment, and you’ll be supported to incorporate what’s helpful into your daily life.

1. UNDERSTAND YOURSELF

Be more at peace with your feelings and have a sense of positive possibility

You will:

  • learn how mind and body can link to amplify anxiety – and how to ease this
  • discover what truly underpins self-worth and emotional balance
  • identify helpful and less helpful ways to manage anxiety and anger
  • understand the positive purpose of unpleasant feelings

This is a half-day workshop (10am to 1.30pm) at the Soul Spa in central Bath.

2. BEFRIEND YOURSELF

Know and like yourself better as you connect with your inner wisdom

You’ll explore ways to:

  • locate sources of insight and guidance within yourself
  • reduce inner conflict and self-doubt
  • feel clearer about what you want and need in your life
  • map your personal path to greater emotional balance and life satisfaction

This is a half-day workshop (10am to 1.30pm) at the Soul Spa in central Bath.

3. NURTURE YOURSELF

Trust yourself to know what matters and to create a satisfying life

You’ll be supported to:

  • integrate self-nurturing practices into your everyday life
  • embed the habit of shifting from self-criticism to self-compassion
  • practice honouring your feelings as a guide to your needs and choices
  • tackle any initial stumbling blocks to positive change

Three one-hour group reflection and support sessions (10-11am) on Zoom

And if you would like to boost the benefits you get from the course – or get focused help for a particularly tricky or sensitive challenge to your emotional or personal wellbeing – you can add one or more flexible one-to-one counselling sessions. I can sometimes offer reduced counselling fees to course participants.
